Saskatchewan Railway Museum

Saskatchewan Railway Museum. Saskatchewan Power Corporation car, built in 1928 for Canadian Utilities Limited, now part of Sask Power, designed to provide emergency power during power failures, acquired in 1993 and moved to the museum in 1994. During restoration, the museum discovered a "Reddy Kilowatt" mascot figure, created at the Alabama Power Company by Ashton B. Collins, Sr. in 1926 and subsequently licensed to more than 300 electrical companies, including West Kootenay Power in B.C.
